BELLA: Canaan Dog Mix / Spayed Female / 2 Years / 36 Pounds HOUSE-TRAINED, PLAYFUL, ENERGETIC, AFFECTIONATE! Bella is a gentle, affectionate, and very docile girl who truly wins hearts with her calm presence. She gets along well with other dogs, doesn’t bark, and doesn’t destroy things around her. She enjoys going for walks, car rides, and peaceful times in the park. Because Bella is deaf, she is especially calm and observant, taking in the world through sight and touch. She loves being petted, enjoys quiet companionship, and rests comfortably in her crate. Her sweet nature makes her a wonderful companion for a patient and loving home. Bella’s story began in a heartbreaking way. She and her sister were found abandoned inside a plastic box in a very remote area, likely left there with little chance of survival. Her sister has since been adopted, but Bella is still waiting—her deafness has made it harder for her to find a home. Bella may not hear, but she feels deeply and loves fully. She is patiently waiting for a family who will see her for the incredible dog she is and give her the safe, loving home she deserves. (We are attaching a picture of the day she was rescued). We understand you are excited to adopt a new fur family rescue, however, we are a small rescue so please no calls. All the information we have for this animal is in this description please read the entire description. You must live within 1.5 hours of Vallejo. We do require a home check (no exceptions), We try to match each animal with the best fit for the animal. Our adoption fees are not negotiable. we do not have a facility we are foster-based and we are not a first come first serve rescue If you are interested in potentially adopting please review our adoption process (do not skip to the application without reading or we will reject your application) and application on our and criteria and if you wish to continue please complete our application on our website at www.gunterslegacy.org/adopt Josh would do better as an only dog. He came from a shelter they believed had been hit by a car he had a broken pelvis and injured leg, but we are fairly sure he was beaten. He was terrified of anything like a broom and pees and poops himself. He's getting better every day. He needs a quiet home, cats are okay, but no male dogs. He can be a sweet boy but wants to trust but we can see it in his eyes as he sizes up every situation. He loves playing with the female dogs in his foster home and can spend hours outside just running and playing. He weighs about 9 pounds, is microchipped and has been fully vaccinated. Neuter to be announced still recovering from a broken pelvis and injured leg. Please consider adopting a senior dog. They are passed over routinely in shelters and Chihuahua senior dogs who are black are then the number 2 breed most euthanized in shelters. Adopt don't shop! ##1371753##
