Story
Jenni Fostered in North Bay Adoption fee: $700 Vaccinated & Spayed Microchipped 2 Years old Hi everyone! My name is Jenni and I’m a beautiful Baladi girl full of spunk and energy. My favorite things to do are play with my foster sister, chew on bones and toys, and spending as much time as possible outside. I love having a large yard as my zoomies are epic! I am working very hard on my recall and some basic commands. I am also working on my leash manners because I just want to go everywhere and smell everything but I promise I am getting better with all these new things my foster parents are doing with me. I am very food motivated and I love food puzzles. I am really good at solving them too! I do love rope toys to tug with and I may start tugging on your clothes to get you to play with me. Grab a rope and I’ll tug you off your chair. I am fully housetrained and crate trained. I also am really good at not fighting over my kibble; my doggy sister and I eat side by side and switch bowls all the time with no issues. My foster parents have always made sure to play with me while I am eating to make sure I don’t have any agression that way; however, human food is my weakness and I like to counter surf and try to steal food off the plates! I am working on that and doing really well but I still need to be watched or your food will be mine. I am a typical Baladi dog and I love to bark at the world! If you don’t know a lot about us Baladis, please read up about the breed. I am intelligent, athletic, loyal and protective. I absolutely love my humans. Like most Baladi dogs, I need a dog friend and a big yard to run and play. I think I’d prefer a boy that’s around my size (or bigger) so my rough play style doesn’t scare or hurt them. I am okay with new people coming into the house as long they are calm and allow me time to settle down. I will bark but give me a few minutes and maybe some of my favorite treats and I will be friends with you. I love car rides when I’m free but don’t like to be locked in a crate. My foster parents love taking me for walks through the doggy stores and I behave well in them. I will even going up and sniff new people with little hesitation. I haven’t spent much time around kids lately, but am no stranger with them.

Story
Kurt Fostered in London, ON Approx 11 weeks old Vaccinated, dewormed & microchipped Adoption Fee: $700 (includes $200 reimbursed after neuter) Mixed Breed (maybe larger...our best guess) Kurt and his siblings are all from a local reservation and we are unknown of their true breed as it could be so many. Kurt is a sweet, smart, and affectionate pup who loves being close to his people. He’s happy to curl up beside you for cuddles after a bit of play and enjoys feeling included in everyday life. He’s already learning his basics like sit and no, is doing very well with crate training, and is making great progress with house training. Kurt is in his puppy chewing phase but redirects easily to toys and is eager to please. Kurt does wonderfully with other dogs and especially loves his larger foster brother, who helps boost his confidence. He is also cat-friendly and respectful around them. He may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but once he warms up, he becomes a loving, loyal little shadow who just wants to be near you. Kurt would thrive in a home that can offer patience, continued training, and lots of love — and he’d be happy with another dog or as a devoted solo companion. This smart, gentle boy is ready to find his forever family, could it be with you?

Story
Otis Fostered in London, ON Approx 11 weeks old Vaccinated, dewormed & microchipped Adoption Fee: $700 (includes $200 reimbursed after neuter) Mixed Breed (likely to be a larger boy — our best guess!) Otis and his siblings are all from a local reservation and we are unknown of their true breed as it could be so many. Meet Otis — aka “Junior”! Otis is the perfect mix of smart, snuggly, and hilariously confident. Even at his young age, he’s already convinced he’s the biggest dog in the room — and honestly, we love that energy. He’s growing fast (blink and he’s bigger!), but still makes plenty of time for cuddles, carrying his toys everywhere, and being right by your side. Otis loves his foster brother and is doing great with the resident cat in the house! He’s curious about everything and just wants to be part of the pack. He sleeps through the night like a champ, Takes his meals very seriously — food is life During the day, Otis is all about the zoomies…followed by equally serious nap sessions...Balance is important Otis is affectionate, eager to learn, and absolutely adores his people. He’d thrive in a home that enjoys playtime, can keep up with puppy energy, and also appreciates a really good couch cuddle He’d love a canine buddy to grow up with — but he’d also be perfectly happy being your one-and-only center of the universe. If you’re looking for a best friend who will make you laugh, steal your heart, and grow into the dog he already believes he is — Otis is your guy

Story
Lizzy Fostered in London, ON Approx. 11 weeks old Vaccinated, dewormed & microchipped Adoption Fee: $700 (includes $200 reimbursed after spay) Lizzy is a sweet, affectionate puppy with a wonderful temperament and a heart full of love. She has had lots of positive interactions with children ranging from ages 1 to 13 and does beautifully with them. With proper introduction as well we feel she'd be good with dogs and cats too. She is very well crate trained and chooses her crate as a safe space — especially when the vacuum comes out! While she is still having the occasional accident, her bladder control has improved dramatically since arriving in foster care. Out of the crate, she prefers to be right by your side. Mornings are still a bit of an adjustment for Lizzy. Her first trip outside is short, but once she’s had some playtime or cuddles, she’s much happier to head back out and spend more time outdoors. Her time outside is monitored in the cold, but it’s clear she’ll really enjoy being outdoors as she grows up! Lizzy is food motivated and currently has monitored meals to prevent overeating. Treats are helping with training — sitting and polite greetings are works in progress, but she is smart, eager to learn, and clearly understands what’s being asked of her. Her puppy energy still shines through, including a love for water… if the shower is running, she’ll happily wander in and out if allowed! She’s absolutely stunning with her tiger-striped coat and black snout — which becomes extra adorable after a snowy sniffing session. Her temperament is excellent, and she’s gentle and trustworthy around adults & children. While she’s still learning not to jump up, she responds well to reminders and ongoing training. Lizzy is a bright, loving, and trainable puppy who will make an incredible addition to a lucky family.
