Story
Wanted: a good, caring home for a sweet 10 month old female terrier mix who likes to cuddle and play. Daisy loves being inside near her human or outdoors playing with other dog/s, does not like to be alone-probably because she had been abandoned and was taken in by the animal shelter malnourished and living by her wits. Smart, very affectionate, knows sits, stay and heel-trains easily due to being food focused and intelligent. Daisy is black and white with kind brown eyes and weighs about 45 pounds. Daisy will use a crate but her preference is being on a dog bed or couch near her human(s). Up to date with all shots including rabies, has been dewormed and spayed: records are through Dr. Sanders at Keith Street Animal Clinic in Cleveland, Tennessee. Daisy was rescued from a kill animal shelter in August and then due to the deteriorating health of her last owner, they took her to be put down because he was unable to continue caring for her and was saved by woofwoof fosters AT THE VETS OFFICE. Due to her intent focus on food and history of having to fight for what she ate to live Daisy does need to be fed separately from other dogs but is not food aggressive toward humans at all, even with taking something away from her. Daisy has not had much socialization with young kids so she requires a home with older children that will respect her space (12+) or no children. UTD on vaccines, on preventatives, and microchipped.
