He may have a few extra needs, but don't let that fool you—this boy is happy, sweet, and full of personality. He loves people, gets along well with other pups, and is always ready to enjoy life. He came to us with a herniated disc that caused weakness and neurological issues in his back legs. He had surgery in July and has continued to make great progress. He is currently doing physical therapy, and may have some lasting weakness or coordination issues. His adopters will need to be mindful of his back by limiting jumping and stairs, but he doesn't let any of that stop him from being a happy, loving dog. He's looking for someone who is ready to give him the little bit of extra care he needs while enjoying everything this special guy has to offer. Ready to adopt? This dog is in one of our Foster Homes and will require an appointment to meet. Appointments can be made Tuesday - Sunday from 11am - 5:30 pm and may take a few days to coordinate. If you want to set an appointment or have questions, contact Patty Baker Humane Society Naples at 239-643-1555 option 4, ext. 15 or email us at foster@pbhsnaples.org. All of our canines are spayed or neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on vaccinations and receive monthly parasite prevention.
