I may be compact, but I've got plenty of personality packed into this pint-sized frame. Come meet me and discover what makes me such a special companion — I promise you won't regret it! 🐾Meet Sherlock! 🔎💙🐾
The mystery of who will steal your heart has officially been solved... it's Sherlock!
Sherlock is an adorable 3-year-old boy weighing approximately 22 pounds, with a bright personality, endless enthusiasm, and so much love to give!
Sherlock's journey began in South Korea, where he was rescued from the difficult conditions of the Gimje City Shelter. Despite facing extreme summer heat and the risks of illness in the shelter, Sherlock never lost his happy spirit. He greeted everyone with excitement and affection, and his rescuers knew this special boy deserved a brighter future.
Sherlock is a social butterfly who loves making new friends! He approaches strangers without hesitation and is always happy to meet someone new. Once he gets to know you, his playful, affectionate personality really shines through. He loves attention, pets, and spending time with his favorite humans!
He's also a friendly guy when it comes to other dogs! Sherlock gets along well with his canine companions and happily welcomes other dogs who approach him. He hasn't met any cats yet, so his compatibility with feline friends is still unknown.
One thing you should definitely know about Sherlock? This boy LOVES his treats! 🦴 He's extremely food motivated and gets so excited when snacks are involved that he might even bark or whine with anticipation. He can be a little enthusiastic when taking treats, so he'll benefit from some gentle guidance on treat-taking manners!
Sherlock is an active, energetic boy who brings happiness wherever he goes. While he hasn't had experience with outdoor leash walks yet, he's a great passenger in the car and hasn't shown any signs of motion sickness. He currently goes potty outdoors at the rescue center, although he may need a little refresher as he adjusts to living in a home.
Because Sherlock has been living in a communal rescue environment, his ability to stay home alone hasn't been evaluated yet. He'll benefit from a patient family willing to help him learn a routine and settle into his new surroundings.
Sherlock is neutered, microchipped, and has a heartworm retest scheduled for January 2027.
With his cheerful personality, affectionate nature, and endless enthusiasm for life, Sherlock is ready to trade his rescue days for a lifetime of love, adventures, and plenty of treats!
Could you be the missing piece to Sherlock's happily ever after? 💙🐾
