Story
Little Anzen (Japanese for quiet) was rescued from a local hoarding situation where 9 dogs including a pregnant dog and a litter of puppies were being kept in a junkyard. We are looking for a quiet and safe foster home for Anzen. He's very frightened and will need time to decompress and start to trust people. At the moment, he can not yet be touched, he's too afraid. He will need a secure yard and we think, that the company of a friendly dog could help him become more confident as he loved the other dogs he lived with in the junkyard. Anzen is a little guy at about 28 lbs and as you can see, he's super adorable, he looks like a mini bear baby. Meet adorable Logan! What a ham! He's super duper cute at a perfect size of about 40 lbs. And he's smart as a whip. He learns so fast! Logan was rescued from a high kill shelter and he's definitely happy to be alive and safe! He has quite a bit of energy and is athletic but also loves to just snuggle up next to you. Logan is looking for a calm, adult household with yard access. He has started obedience training and is learning fast. Logan is super affectionate! 🐾 Meet Emmie – 7 y/o Spayed Corgi / Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) Mix 📍 Georgetown, TX Emmie is fully house trained, up to date on vaccines, and heartworm negative. She’s affectionate with her people and enjoys relaxing at home, with typical exercise needs for her breed and age. 2.5 years ago she was bitten by another dog and has been more skittish since. She thrives in calm, predictable environments. With a baby on the way and a toddler who is still learning appropriate touch, Emmie has nipped when she feels overwhelmed. Because of this, she is not a fit for homes with young children but may do well with calm older kids (middle/high school age). She does bark to alert at doors or nighttime movement. 🏡 Best fit: adult-only or older kids, no other pets, quiet home. We are committed to finding the right home for Emmie 💛
