Story
We received Jackson as a puppy because he is our other dog’s younger sibling. At the time we had 2 kids and were super active. Lots of hiking and time at grandparents ranch. We have since added 2 kids to our family, one with special needs, and grandparents ranch moved out of state. Because of the amount of medical care our daughter needs and the busyness of 2 working parents with 4 young kids, we are rarely home now. Jackson (& Kinsley) are home alone far too much now. We are looking for a family that has either lots of time to give Jackson the time and love he deserves and/or a larger property for him to run around and keep busy. He is very active, loves people and physical activity. He is house trained and is accustomed to sleeping inside. He is talkative and loves physical touch. Has lived his whole life with kids. Jackson will be 3 in January. We are considering rehoming sister Kingsley as well if there is a place that they could stay together so we don’t need to separate them.

Story
Boone is affectionate, cuddly, and loving. He loves to play, go on walks and car rides, run, and play fetch. He LOVES toys. He would be best in a home with a yard and with no other pets. He does great being home alone and has one of those magical bladders and can hold it for a long time. Not destructive at all when left alone. He plays hard and sleeps hard. He's not an early riser who will wake you: If you're in bed, so is he! He loves to snooze upside-down. Boone is neutered, current on vaccinations and microchipped. He's totally cooperative with nail-trimming. He is a healthy, beautiful, fun dog. Boone is fully housetrained and very obedient to basic training commands. He sometimes pulls on the leash but is improving. Boone is looking for a patient person or family who can help him feel secure when meeting new people. Boone can be nervous and reactive to new people, so slow introductions are key. Once he understands the person is welcome and friendly, he’s as friendly as can be.
