With those incredible blue eyes and fun-loving personality, he has a way of making everyone around him smile.Like many Catahoulas, he’s an active working-breed puppy who thrives when he has structure, enrichment, and people to engage with. He loves to play, explore, learn new things, and be part of the action. He’s also incredibly loving and enjoys soaking up attention from his humans.Recently, he was returned after being left unattended outside with chickens, where his natural prey drive kicked in. Catahoulas are intelligent hunting and working dogs, and like many breeds with strong instincts, they should not be left unsupervised around small livestock or poultry. This wasn’t a “bad dog” moment — it was a reminder that puppies, especially working breeds, need management, guidance, and safe setups to succeed.This boy is looking for a home that understands the needs of an active, intelligent breed and is excited about continuing his training and socialization.
