Story
Takis is going to be a little timid compared to her siblings. She won't necessarily come up to you right away, but she is good with being pet and held, just a little nervous. This litter is fairly new to the shelter and Takis is adjusting slowly. Taking time with her to build and gain trust would be the best option!

Story
This sweet 8-10 month old pup we named Remy came to our airbnb when we were visiting Taos from Santa Fe. We aren't sure of her breed - guessing catahoula / cattle / hound mix. We took her in and wish we could keep her, but our three cats have never lived with dogs and they are very scared and stressed. She gets along well with other dogs and is incredibly sweet and cuddly and very smart. We house trained her within a week and she now knows her name and sit. We've started training her to walk on leash and she has a good association with her crate, though she isn't fully crate trained. She'll cuddle you all night or sleep on her own. She is healthy, has her first round of shots, and is chipped. She needs to be spayed and have a stubborn baby tooth removed which can happen during the spay. There are low-cost spay clinics and we were quoted only $63 for the tooth extraction. We have an appointment to bring her to the shelter this Friday but would rather bring her directly to a home.

Story
Anyone looking for a sweet hound mix? If so look no further, Jax is your guy. He is a true gentleman that listens to commands and tries his hardest to please. He sits and shakes for treats and takes them gently. He is playful and affectionate. Jaxis still a young guy so some extra training will probably be a good idea. He pulls on the leash but settles down quickly especially in a harness. Please come and meet Jax. He`s waiting for you.

Story
Hey I am a high energy leopard, full of joy and love. I need a place to run around, as I love to get my exercise every day. I enjoy the company of other doggies and I am independent too. The kennel I am currently in is really small so I am a little nervous here at the shelter and would love to make the great escape to your home!
