Story
Beretta came to Coming Back Home Rescue on Easter Day after being found left for death in Alabama. She was shot by a .22(gun) and stranded. Thankfully, someone managed to get her to a shelter, but the situation was not much better. Due to the shelter being understaffed with only two members and having over 200 dogs, Beretta was constantly sitting in a cage with feces and urine. We could not look away at the situation and immediately arranged transport. By the time she got to us, she was fighting two infections on both entry and exit wounds. Now, she has recovered and looking for her forever home! Please don't mind a patch of missing hair as she was shaved during treatment - but we promise, she has a BEAUTIFUL coat which is very soft. Solid with Merle. Beretta has been a great house guest and gets along with just about everyone. However, she is much slower to approach men unless there is another dog present. We believe this all stemmed from her past. She is mostly house trained but may use the restroom in the home if not taken out in a timely manner. Catahoula Leopard Dogs are HIGH-ENERGY dogs and designed for work. Beretta is no exception but makes a great family pet for an active family. It is highly recommended to do research on the breed before filling out an application. For more information, visit; https://trello.com/c/BDYjDAmx **Spay Appointment on April 22nd**

Story
Aqua is pending euthanization and expected to be put down in the next 3 days due to overcrowding and being HW Positive. We are currently working on saving her life and have transport set up for May 4th while our rescue partners in Louisiana work on finding her a temporary foster. Aqua is located in Shevaport, LA and will be coming to Ohio. This dog is Heartworm Postive which treatment will be covered through Coming Back Home Rescue through the slow-kill method. 6-8 Months of 3% Ivermetacin and retest. Even after adoption, we will continue assisting with the Heartworm treatment. This is what they had to say about Aqua; Aqua was originally brought to the shelter in 2021 being found as a stray. She was adopted as a puppy but returned three years later because they thought she needed more room to run. Aqua gets along with cats and dogs. For her full bio, refer to the second image of her kennel card. Please contact us with any questions.

Story
Rocky is a very special boy looking for a special home. He once had an older human who he spent every minute with. His person sadly passed away and Rocky had a hard time adjusting. He would be happiest in a home where his person did not work or leave him for long periods of time. He is a stage five clinger and will be your best friend for life. Rocky has bad association to the crate and has high anxiety when he is left alone. Taking him with you is the perfect solution! He LOVES to play ball and his zoomies are so silly. If you're a homebody or in need of an emotional support best friend.... Rocky is your guy!
