Kain is a very sweet, calm dog. He loves naps on the couch & sneaking snacks. He gets along well with other dogs & children. We are looking to find home a home where he can thrive. We have recently added another baby to the house & unfortunately I now have PPD which makes most days very overwhelming. I haven’t been able to give him the attention he would like, so he has begun to act out (chewing on anything child related or peeing on specific toys). He really is such a good dog. I just can’t handle his issues right now.

Story
I acquired Nala when she was 8 weeks old from a rancher in North Dallas. She is a 70 lb, purebred, merle who will be 5 yrs old on 6/4/2023 who has only lived in the city. She is spayed, crate trained and housebroken. She is playful, loving, smart, intelligent, quick on her feet but can also be standoffish especially around unfamiliar people. She is not leash trained nor has she ever been to a dog park (I know this sounds strange but I raised her alongside her brother so there have been some challenges). She knows commands (sit, bedtime, no, etc, she knows what 'good-girl' means). She goes to bed around 8pm and normally sleeps through the night unless she needs to go to outside but this varies. She barks, howls at sirens, and occasionally has a 'happy yap.' She doesn't like her nails clipped or her ear cleaned. I am looking for an experienced dog lover who is willing to take Nala into their home, do right by her, socialize her, and find her a good companion to grow old with.

Meet Sadie, she has been the sweetest companion since she was a puppy, unfortunately she is getting older and has recently started showing signs of random food aggression. While she has largely lived happily with our four year old daughter and our one year old puppy, she has snapped at the four year old a few times in recent weeks, and attacked the 8 lbs pup over a treat, the little one had to get staples at the vet. It truly breaks our hearts to have to say goodbye, but with a young child we can’t take the risk that next time it might be worse. Sadie is 12 years old and does have some arthritis, she currently takes gabapentin and rimadyl daily which seems to have greatly improved her symptoms.
