Meet Ginger Currently fostering in Tennessee Here's the link to our adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/201317338010137 This amazing gal-Friday is the full packageathletic, smart, spry, fun-loving, obedient and young enough to take on the world right by your side! Please meet Ginger! She is a Catahoula/Heeler mix weighing in at 40 lbs of total excitement and fun! She was found under an abandoned house with her babies in Bartlett, TN. Her babies have all been adopted, but she was so shy that she needed time to settle in and learn about living in a home and trust. She is still shy with new people at first, but she warms up quickly. She absolutely loves to play with friends and toys! They are her life and treats come in a fast second. She walks well on a leash, but she is shy about having a leash put on. It is all new to her and she will need someone very special to help her continue to learn and trust. She just has to be shown that all is ok in her world and then she is fine. She is not aggressive in any way, but will be more watchful. She crates easily, but does not require a crate and she is also fully housebroken. She adores ice cream outings and walks in the park. Whatever the outdoor adventure or indoor relaxation, she is definitely worth everything. If you cant tell, we absolutely adore her and have loved watching her learn and grow. If you are interested in this adorable, loving, adventurous young lady, please get your apps in as fast as you can! Story
Ginger was stuck in a drainage ditch. It was hard to get her out so animal control had to assist me. She was lifted out of a 25ft ditch by slip leads and treats. She is trained to do tricks and is very loving and easy going. She plays well with other dogs and is very friendly. Walks well on leash rides good in cars and is of the Hearding breed types and has some of those traits. Knows some commands. Great dog!

Story
Hi! My name is Gruber, but everyone calls me Griffin (Or Griff or Big G!). I heard that I am the 2nd longest dog in the MAS system, but I don't know why because I'm told I am incredibly handsome! You should know that I am not a big fan of other dogs. They make me anxious, so as you can imagine, being at the shelter was very stressful. Luckily, my now foster mom played with me in the yard and decided to bring me home with her, and that has been great. When I first went to my foster home, they always tried to pet me and love on me, and I didn't understand this "cuddling" when we could be playing instead. Then I figured out how incredible belly rubs are, and now I like to get those all the time! I try to crawl into foster mom's lap, but it's a hard fit but worth the effort. I learned really quickly that I potty outside, and proud to say I never have accidents! I am a homebody. I am happiest in the comfort of my own space. I love having a backyard where I can play, run, and feel safe. I would enjoy a home where I can watch sports and movies with you or watch you play video games. I am also good at entertaining myself with a Benabone or staring at shadows on the wall while my foster mom works on the computer. Some of my likes are belly rubs, peanut butter-filled Kongs, and playing keep away! Im the champ at keep away. As soon as foster dad gets home, I look for the closest toy I can find so we can play, and I always win! You see, I am a VERY happy boy. I prefer to be the only pet in my home since other dogs make me anxious. If you think you would be the home I've been waiting for, just let my foster mom know!" If you would like to be considered for adoption, please complete the adoption questionnaire on our website www.heartsofgoldpitrescue.com.

Wow! HBC aka Buddy aka Poppa Dog aka Pineapple got his DNA results. Well he is a true mixed breed made up of 21 different breeds ?. See the top 6 breeds in the report. He’s healing up very well and is now able to find a family to call his own. He had been hit by a vehicle and was laying in a ditch off Craft rd in Olive Branch when found in January of this year. He’s had orthopedic surgery to repair his broken leg, an FHO and broken pelvis. He’s about 1-2 years old, heartworm negative, current on all his vaccines and preventatives. Weighs about 60 pounds. If interested in giving this deserving dog a home please send us an email and we will send you our application. Saveonepet@gmail.com.
