Declan Declan's story started on a cattle ranch in Mississippi, where he decided the cows in the pasture looked like excellent friends. While the rancher wasn't quite as enthusiastic about the arrangement, Declan was having the time of his life exploring the great outdoors and making himself at home among the herd. Today, Declan is still an outdoor enthusiast at heart. He loves long walks, running, exploring, car rides, and just about anything that gets him outside. His absolute favorite toy is his red Kong, and he's always ready for a game or a new adventure. While he loves being outside, Declan is equally happy relaxing indoors with his people. He is crate trained, housebroken, and knows how to settle in for a cozy afternoon. Give him a fluffy dog bed, a sunny spot to lounge, and some cuddle time, and you'll have one very happy dog. It didn't take long for everyone to fall in love with his happy-go-lucky attitude. When we met Pump, his radiant personality made it impossible to leave him behind. Pump is the definition of an easy companion. He loves other dogs, enjoys meeting new people, and has a wonderful medium energy level that allows him to fit into many different types of homes. Sparky #25161; male; mixed breed weighing approximately 60# and estimated to be 3 years old. This guy showed up at a factory in the north part of the county. He went into the office and made himself right at home. Too bad for him, but they couldn’t let him stay. He is one handsome guy! Sparky is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative and on prevention. He has lots of energy and will do best as an only dog with an active family or a secure fenced place to play. He is food motivated and with a little consistency he will be easily trained. We know the right home for him is out there somewhere! We do not have cats in our shelter and therefore cannot evaluate the dog’s reactions.
