Story
Meet Doodle! Doodle came to us from a cruelty case in January. This poor girl was living in deplorable conditions and was kept in a small wire crate all her life and did not know what loves was. It took quite a while for staff to gain her trust but once she understood that not all people are bad, she opened up and showed her personality to us! Doodle is definitely a work in progress, she is still struggling to trust new people, but we think once she is out of the stressful shelter environment, she would make an awesome dog for the right person! We have tested her around other dogs and she can be a little dog selective but does great for the most part!

Story
Ferry was adopted at 2 years old from an Animal Resource Center and is now 9 years old! Do not let her age fool you, she is very high energy! She loves to run and jump around as fast as she can. She would do well somewhere with a yard to play. Ferry has always done will with children of all ages, but would do better with older kids due to her energy. She is also a big cuddle bug! Ferry loves to snuggle up on the couch with you to get all the pets. She loves to go on rides in the car and explore anywhere you will take her. She is very smart and quickly picks up on routines and tricks. Ferry is also very alert to her surroundings and will bark when your house is approached by strangers, but once introduced to them, is sweet as can be.

Story
I am currently in foster care if you would like to meet me please email FosterAPet@leagueCitytx.gov Hi, I’m Ferdinan! I enjoy calm days, gentle walks, and relaxing at home with my people. You’ll often find me carrying my favorite stuffy toys around wherever I go. I have a sweet, gentle nature and form strong bonds once I feel comfortable. I do best with slow, proper introductions to new furry friends so I can feel safe and confident. With a little patience and lots of love, I’ll be a wonderful companion.

Story
Meet GiGi, a bright, playful young pup with a big heart and an even bigger love for fun! GiGi is sweet, excitable, and very people-focused — she absolutely lights up when interacting with her handler and is happiest when she’s engaged in play or enrichment. Food is her love language, and she is highly motivated by treats, snuffle mats, chew items, and puzzle toys. Give her something to work on and she’s all in! In the kennel, GiGi has started to show some stress signals such as panting, pacing, and occasional attempts to door dart, which tells us she’s ready for a home where she can decompress and shine. Outside of the kennel environment, she settles into her joyful, affectionate personality and enjoys connection and interaction. GiGi can be a bit jumpy at times, especially with unfamiliar or desensitization tools, but she recovers quickly and continues to engage once she realizes she’s safe. She’s a sensitive girl who benefits from gentle handling, positive reinforcement, and patience as she builds confidence. This fun-loving, food-motivated girl will thrive with someone who enjoys enrichment, training games, and helping a smart pup channel her energy in positive ways. In the right home, GiGi is sure to blossom into an incredible companion. Interested in meeting me? Submit an adoption application, and our foster team will reach out by email to coordinate a meet and greet with my foster family. 🐾💛
