Meet Rebel — A Loyal Companion Ready to Bond Rebel is a one-year, six-month-old Catahoula mix who came to us as a stray with truly striking features — one blue eye and one brown. He's still finding his footing in the world and starts out a bit shy with new people, but once he feels secure, he settles in as a dedicated companion who treasures quiet time and close company. Because he draws his confidence from other dogs, Rebel needs a home with at least one friendly, resident dog to help show him the ropes. He tends to mirror the energy of his canine companions and relaxes far more easily with a four-legged partner by his side. He has a medium energy level and is just as content playing in the yard as he is resting inside with his people. Rebel is looking for a patient household with a predictable routine. He does well with children and would thrive with a family that understands the slow-and-steady approach to building trust. He's neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his shots — adoption fee is $300. If you have a welcoming home and a resident dog ready for a new friend, Rebel is ready to meet you. Sadly, her owner developed serious health issues and passed away, leaving no one able to care for her. Through no fault of her own, she and Earl ended up at a local animal control facility that was forced to euthanize for space. The story broke hearts across the internet—and ours too. When a foster home opened up, we knew we had to help.  She's a wonderful dog who love people, get along well with other dogs, and is exceptionally well-trained. She simply want a soft place to land and a family to love again. Both Marley and Earl are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, 4DX negative, and current on ProHeart 12 and Bravecto.
