Name: Penny Age: estimated DOB: 03/01/2025 Breed(as listed on paperwork): Catahoula mix Gender: female Weight: 40lbs Altered:yes Crate Trained:yes Housebroke:yes Good with kids: yes Good with dogs: yes can be picky with overly submissive dogs Good with cats: unknown Short bio: Penny Pan (named this as she showed up out of nowhere, so we say she came from Neverland) is as loving as they come. Loves to play fetch, frisbee, tug. Loves to cuddle and be snuggled. She absolutely adores children. Her silly side is fun to watch and great for a laugh. She knows sit, down, wait and stay. Incredibly food motivated and very easy to train. She knows to ring door bells when she wants outside, but isn’t 100% house trained. Does well in her crate, and goes right to it when she’s told “let’s get in your crate”. She loves to play with other pups, but can be a little rough at times. She is very fast when she has open room to run. Penny is very expressive and you can read her emotions on her face easily. On the other side, she has had some kind of maltreatment in her past as she ducks and runs if she sees a flip flop, trash bag, or broom/mop.

Story
Bo has quite the personality. He is very loving and a ball of energy. He also perfectly fine being a couch potato. Gets along well with other dogs and people. He does get nervous and does not do well with being reprimanded harshly. He is eager to please. I took him after his owner passed away and unfortunately I am cannot keep him.

Story
This sweet, timid girl is looking for her forever home! Betty is 1 yr old, about 45 lbs, fully vetted and current on preventatives, great with big dogs (like obsessed with big dogs) but not good with small dogs, and likely not cats either, crate trained, house trained. Betty came from a sad, neglectful situation (with 9 other siblings and a few adults). Dogs help her come out of her shell. She could be an only dog if her human had plenty of time to spend with her. Two of her sisters are in other foster homes and four have been adopted and are THRIVING! Now it's her turn!

Story
Hi friends, it’s me — Wilma! 🐾 I used to be one of 16 pups who didn’t get enough food or care, but don’t worry, I’m safe now and on my way to being the best doggie version of myself. At first, I wasn’t too sure about people… but now I’ve discovered they give snacks (!!!) and pets, and honestly, that’s pretty awesome. I’m house trained and crate trained! I don’t bark or growl, but every now and then my husky genes kick in and I love to sing you the song of my people 🎶🐺. Don’t worry — it’s more adorable than annoying. Here’s my resume, in case you’re considering inviting me over: • Mixed breed cutie, spayed, and vaccinated ✔️ • Light positive for heartworms (but already being treated — no biggie!) • LOVE other dogs, no matter their size 🐶 • Very treat motivated 🍪 (did I mention treats?) • Sweet, gentle, and learning every day how great love feels 💕 All I need now is a forever home where I can keep healing, snacking, singing, and snuggling. Could that be with you? I promise to bring lots of love (and maybe a few songs) into your life. Love, Wilma 🐾 DOB 7.13.24 Foster to adopt is a great way to see if Wilma is the perfect fit for your family.

Story
Roxy is beautiful young girl that needs a patient foster/adopter with time to spend to earn her trust. She came from an overcrowded backyard, grew up with nine siblings, and was picked on pretty badly by one of the females. She never had any human interaction or affection. She and her sister were removed from the yard together at the age of 8.5 months, vetted and taken to foster homes. They're learning what life, love, belly rubs, toys, rest, food...everything is all about. They've come a long way, but the work isn't finished. Roxy would do best with at least one dog friend to play with, preferably her size, but she LOVES ALL DOGS. She's submissive and licks all over her big foster siblings. She's great with my husband a 8 year old son, no experience with cats, but I believe she'd be fine. She hops around gently with toads in the yard. She also sings and wiggles when she gets excited, like a husky. She's crate and house trained. We haven't tried a leash yet. She's a joy to be around!. ❤️ She is spayed and current on preventatives. Foster to adopt is a great way to see if she's a perfect fit for your family!

Story
*Meet Dallas! Dallas is a Husky mix with a playful and spirited personality. She was found on the side of the road and, after being surrendered and adopted, has shown she’s ready for a fresh start in the perfect home. Though she doesn’t get along with cats or small animals, she’s a sweetheart with bigger dogs and absolutely loves to play. She’s got a real love for water, whether it’s splashing around in a kiddie pool or just running through the sprinklers. Toys and treats? Yes, please! Dallas is an energetic girl who thrives on fun, and she’d love a family that can give her plenty of outdoor adventures. Dallas would do best in a home without small children (under 10), as her energy and playfulness can be a little overwhelming for younger ones. She’ll make an amazing companion for someone who understands her breed’s needs and is ready to give her all the love and attention she deserves. Could Dallas be the perfect addition to your family?*To make an appointment to meet Dallas, please complete your application at this link: https://PetsFurPeople.org/pre-application/ Follow it up with a phone call.
