Meet Waylon! Waylon has really come out of his shell, and this once-shy guy is now showing off his big, goofy personality! He’s blossomed into an outgoing, energetic pup who loves engaging with the people around him. His signature moves? The cutest little spins and paw taps! If there’s water nearby, you can bet Waylon will find it! He absolutely LOVES splashing around in our water troughs, so an adopter who enjoys outdoor adventures and doesn’t mind a little splash zone will be right up his alley. Whether he’s exploring outside, playing with his canine friends, or showing off his silly tricks, Waylon is always ready for his next adventure. Waylon does well with other dogs and would love opportunities to play and burn off some of his seemingly endless energy. He has also lives successfully with cats before! He’ll need an active family who can provide plenty of exercise, enrichment, and continued training to help him channel all that enthusiasm into becoming the best boy he can be. If you’re looking for an energetic, water-loving sidekick with some seriously adorable moves, come meet Waylon! *Medical Consideration: He had a prior injury as a puppy that damaged his vocal chords and resulted in scarring. This has been managed by ensuring that he wears a harness for walks rather than a neck leash. Waylon will still sometimes cough/ make grunting noises that have been attributed to this previous injury.

Meet Bandit — our current longest dog resident. For over 50 days, Bandit has been watching other dogs come and go while he continues to wait for someone to choose him. Bandit is a handsome Catahoula mix with a big personality and an even bigger desire to be someone’s one and only. He’s a sweet boy, but he does have a few quirks, so Bandit needs a home where he can be the only dog — and honestly, he’s more than ready to soak up all that love himself. Bandit isn’t asking for a house full of furry friends. He’s asking for one person or family to call his own.He’d love someone who will take him along on adventures, let him explore the world by their side, and come home at the end of the day knowing he finally belongs somewhere. He wants to be your passenger, your adventure buddy, your shadow, and your best friend.50+ days is a long time to wait.
