Story
This HANDSOME fella, and his sister Steggo, were transferred to us for a (much needed and well deserved) fresh start. Once we heard their story, we knew we had to give them a chance, and we`ve been reaping the rewards ever since!Steggo and Jager came from a rough start, in a terrible environment.. if you can imagine it, they`ve been through it, and they were often left to fend for themselves.Let. Me. Tell. You... these two are the prime example of `humans don`t deserve dogs`... These two came into the shelter ready for fresh starts! Right from the start, they accepted love, treats, pets, and TOYS. They opened their hearts to us immediately, and we got to see the amazing, spunky, personalities emerge as they got to (finally) let their guard down and just have fun. They never hesitate to grab a toy out of the toy box on their way out to the dog yard (it`s like cleaning up after toddlers!) They love TOYS.. all kinds! Destroying stuffies! Basketballs! Playing tug with a rope! Chasing tennis balls! They love it all! They do very well keeping their kennel clean, but may have an occasional slip up here and there as they adjust to a new schedule. They`ve lived together their entire lives, so are familiar with each other, but meet and greets are always required with any new potential canine sibling. Come meet Steggo and/or Jager and be ready to be charmed!

Story
Molly is a beautiful German Shepherd/Newfoundland mix of around 5 years. She is an extra large lady with a big bark and an even bigger heart! Originally adopted from us as a wee pup, Molly was surrendered back to us because her size became overwhelming for her owner to handle. Very, very, scared at first.. Molly soon let her guard down, and her goofy personality out!! She will need some patience meeting new people as we are working on “stranger danger” and socializing! As long as you let Miss Molly come to YOU, she`s more than happy to meet new friends. In her spare time, Molly LOVES to run around our big side yard (she has a lot of leg to stretch!). She loves strolling through the shelter, dutifully checking each and every room.. looking for human friends to give a face lick to, or pausing to check out each and every cat kennel to see who`s inside. She has not previously lived with cats OR dogs, but shows interest and curiosity in both when she comes across them.Stop in during our business hours to meet Miss Molly in person, or email us at animals@mashelter.org for an application!
