Story
This stray shepherd spent weeks—maybe even months—running the roads before being brought in. He’s full of energy, intelligence, and drive, which makes him an exciting, but challenging, companion. John thrives with structure, consistency, and a strong, experienced handler. He’s already picking up commands quickly—sit, down, wait (for food)—and is currently learning “leave it” and “place.” On walks, he’s eager and attentive, but he can also heel when asked. He’s house and crate trained, and with the right guidance, he has the potential to be an incredible family protector and loyal partner. Because of his size, energy, and strong personality, John would do best in a home without small dogs or young children. He needs a devoted owner who can continue his training and channel his intelligence and energy into positive outlets. In the right home, John Wick isn’t just a dog—he’s a sharp, determined partner who excels when given direction and purpose.
