Louie is a 1-year-old Bichon Frise and Shih Tzu mix, often referred to as a Teddy Bear breed. We acquired him from a reputable breeder in Indiana when he was a puppy. Louie is a sweet, loving, and playful dog with a big personality. He enjoys being around people, loves to play, and does especially well with children. He is affectionate, friendly, energetic, and enjoys being part of family activities. We are looking for a loving home where Louie will receive the time, attention, and companionship he deserves. With a new baby joining our family, we have made the difficult decision to rehome him because we know we will not be able to give him the level of attention and engagement he needs to thrive. Our goal is to find a family or individual who can provide him with a stable, caring environment where he will be loved and included as part of the family. This decision has not been made lightly, and we are committed to finding the best possible home for Louie.

Because these new hours would require Winter to be crated for long periods during the day, we are proactively seeking a home that matches her social and athletic needs. She deserves an environment where she can run and thrive, rather than wait in a crate. Story
One of the Newton County Animal Shelter advocates was at the shelter when "Mandy" was brought in as an owner surrender. Due to the shelter already being over capacity this sweet baby became urgent the moment that she was surrendered! We stepped in and rescued this sweet girl. We know that she is very dog friendly 🐶🐾🐶 but we aren't sure of cats just yet. She loves all people, big and little. She is a little shy when you first meet her, than she almost immediately warms up within just a few minutes and then becomes the most affectionate, lapdog and coach potato in the world. She is still so young, estimated to be between 2-3years old - so she is beyond all the puppy stages but still has so much life, and love to give!
