Story
We adopted Zoey from a rescue organization in the Fall of 2018. She was a puppy at the time. We estimate she was born in June/July 2018 so is almost 8 years old. She needs a home where she has people who will play with her, walk her and give her attention. She is not a chewer but loves to find socks on the floor that she can carry around the house. She needs a fenced yard. She is very energetic and sweet. She can be difficult to walk as she gets excited. I had taken her to a trainer and she was then much better but I have not been consistent. When we adopted Zoey, our family was myself, my husband and my teenage son. My husband worked from home and my son played with her alot. Now my son is in college and my husband and I separated. Zoey lives solely with me and 2 cats. Due to a significant injury I am not able to walk her or even consistently play with her. She is in need of a home that can take better care of her.

We're heartbroken to have to re-home Dozer, a gentle 9-year-old boy we've had since he was a rejected 4-week-old puppy. Work travel and busy schedules mean we can't give him the constant attention he craves anymore.Dozer:Lives for snuggles and being glued to his people Super playful, but not into fetchHas severe separation anxiety—needs a home with someone around most of the time (WFH, retiree, flexible schedule ideal)Amazing with our 5-year-old daughter—very patient and gentleOn a couple meds + special food (easy to get via Chewy)He's house-trained, calm indoors, and just wants a cozy life full of love and closeness.
