Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Betsy is a very sweet breeder release girl in search of her forever family.  She loves all that this brand-new life has to offer. Snuggling on the couch next to her foster mom is one of her favorite things to do. Betsy is working hard on her housetraining.    ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe - no invisible fences. Confident resident dog in the home preferred.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped. Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly. November 12, 2025, 9:16 pm

She has been started on a heart medication (Vetmedin) and will need this medication lifelong. She will need a family willing and able to provide her ongoing cardio care.   ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: Physically fenced in yard to keep her safe - no invisible fences.
