Story
Mitzie is a four year old maltese poodle, who is about ten pounds. She is my constant shadow and friend and serves well as an alarm bell for intruders, giving me a sense of safety. I have not been able to give her the time that she needs to keep her anxiety at bay as i'm in a four year degree program that requires I travel a lot more than I thought I would be. Mitzie is a joy, with a quirky personality. She will require someone confident to support an animal living with strong alpha tendencies. In general, she does very well with people and kids, but has had moments of nipping and growling, especially during transitions (like new people or a change in schedule). She is kennel trained, does tricks, and tries to be a Human. She also has occasional acts of leaking when anxious or feeling displaced. She does resource guard with her toys and couch, though this is easily remedied by owning the toy yourself or putting her on the floor. She been around many children and has a brother dog.

Story
Daisy May was adopted at 10 months old in 2021. She suffered abuse from her first owners which has left a lasting mark. Daisy is a sweet and silly girl with a lot amazing qualities. She loves going to the park, playing fetch, squeaky toys, treats and cuddles. Due to her past abuse Daisy May is still reactive. Its fear based reactivity she has never been aggressive toward anyone. I put not good with kids because shes always been scared of them. Theyre too noisey and dont respect her boundaries. I cant afford professional dog training shes not the only pet. But if she had the training i know without a doubt it would change her life. I have trained her myself the best i can but i am no professional. She knows sit, lay down, stay, shake.. she knows at least half a dozen commands she follows well. She just needs someone with more patience than me for her reactivity, and someone whos home more often than me and can give her the love and attention she deserves. Experienced adopters preferred
