Story
Meet Chip — a tiny pup with a huge heart.Chip is an incredibly loving and affectionate little guy who absolutely adores people. The moment someone comes near, his tail starts wagging and he’s ready to hand out kisses like it’s his full-time job. He’s confident, fearless, and full of charm — and although he only weighs 11 pounds, Chip is convinced he’s just as big as his 45-pound foster canine sister and happily roughhouses with her like a pro.Chip’s journey hasn’t been easy. His previous owners were heartbroken to surrender him when they couldn’t afford the surgery needed to correct a bowel obstruction. A compassionate southern veterinarian stepped in, performed the life-saving surgery, and kept Chip in their care through recovery — ensuring he was fully healed, healthy, and ready for a fresh start before moving on to find his forever home.Chip thrives with other dogs, loves playtime, enjoys going for walks, and never misses a meal. He also has wonderful house manners: fully potty trained, sleeps soundly through the night in his crate, and settles in with ease. When the day winds down, his favorite place is right beside his person — he’s a total snuggle bug.If you’re looking for a playful, affectionate, confident little companion who will fill your home with love and joy, Chip just might be your perfect match.Name: ChipBreed: Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/CrossbreedSex: MaleAge: 1 year (estimated)Weight: 11.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: YesGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: UnknownAdoption Fee: $550.00 (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently: Tennessee IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.
