My name is Charlotte (or sometimes lovingly called Bean by my foster family because I am just a little gal!). I am a spunky cavalier who has learned to love people and my resident dog. I was skittish when I first came to my foster family but I have really blossomed in the first few weeks. I still get startled by loud or sudden noises but I'm being brave! Some of my favorite activities include snuggling my humans or dog friends, eating or walking on my hind legs. I am intrigued by toys but learning what to do with them. I have learned to do well on walks but I do even better when I have a dog with me to show me the way!  What else… I do great with other dogs and kids. I love hanging around my resident dog so I would love a dog although not required. I love to come up to my humans to get petted! I'm not quite potty trained but still working on it. I could overall use some training because I don't know any commands. On the plus side, I do well in my crate! I think thats all! If you are looking for a fun and loving dog, I might be your gal! Some of the animals come from situations where they are lacking experience in a home and confidence in humans. In turn, they require another companion dog and/or a fenced in yard in their forever home in order for them to feel safe. While they are in our care, they are part of our families and given lots of love. We work on training, crate-training and socialization prior to adoption, but each bio is written by the foster as they see them, in their home.
