  Meet Barton, a 2 ½ -year-old mix of Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Beagle! His weight is a healthy 20 pounds, and he has a long, black and white coat that's soft to the touch. Barton is a bit shy, but once he warms up to you, he's the sweetest boy you'll ever meet! He was rescued from a hoarding situation and has successfully been treated for heartworms. He's playful and friendly, always excited about new toys. Despite his reserved nature, Barton really loves being around other dogs of all ages and sizes. His gentle and loving personality makes him a wonderful companion! Barton is a gem who deserves a forever home where he can give and receive love in abundance. (ME, 2/27/24) **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. ** Adoption: $395 which covers quarantine, shots, worming, medical records, spaying/neutering, microchip and an Alabama State Health Certificate.   Transport, if needed  $160   We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip . Meet Mulan! Mulan is a 5-year-old, 20 lb Cavachon (Cavalier /Bichon) with the most adorable floppy ears that she loves to have scratched. This sweet girl spent the first few years of her life in a puppy mill, so she can be a little timid at first but quickly warms up with patience and kindness. While she may be shy around new situations initially, Mulan adores meeting new people and dogs. She also enjoys going for walks around the neighborhood, especially at the park where she can sniff around the grass. Her favorite foods include chicken, cheese, and arugula! Mulan would thrive in a calm home with a patient owner who can give her the time she needs to become more confident and feel comfortable. She would do better in a home with older children, as sudden movements can be a bit overwhelming for her. Consistency is key for Mulan. She is working on her house training and crate training. If you're looking for a fluffy loving companion who will be your constant shadow, Mulan is the dog for you! She is currently being fostered in Manhattan. Her adoption fee is $600. Meet Moana! Moana is a beautiful, 5yr old, 20lb Cavachon lady. As a puppy mill momma that has not had positive human interaction until recently, she is working on trusting her people. She is a shy and sweet lady that is ultimately a Velcro pup, following her foster mom wherever she goes. With patience and love she will come out of her shell and be the most loving friend. She is doing fantastic with housetraining (basically teaching herself!). She is still learning to walk on the leash and prefers the fenced in yard to do her business and run around with her foster brothers. She has selected one of the dog beds and made it her own (it's her safe space). She sleeps in it during the day and through the night in her foster mom's bedroom. As Moana continues to learn to trust her people she would love a quiet, calm house with a fenced in yard for her to relax in. She does well with her foster brother dogs and just goes with the flow. She has not been around a cat while in foster but she is so chill that her foster mom thinks she would do just fine. Moana is currently enjoying time on Long Island with her foster family but would love to find her forever home to continue to blossom. Her adoption fee is $600.
