Hello there! My name is Poshey, and I am a stunning, 10-year-old Cocker Spaniel lady looking for a cozy spot to spend my retirement years. People say "senior," but I prefer to think of myself as "experienced." I have all the classic Cocker Spaniel charm—velvety ears, big soulful eyes, a wagging nub, and a heart that just wants to be near you. I am the perfect mix of active companion (you’re only as old as you feel) and affectionate housemate. I am very sweet, but I’ve still got that classic spaniel spark! I love to stay engaged, but I know how to settle down when it’s time to chill. I am looking for a quiet home where I can be the center of attention and provide you with unlimited loyalty. What I Love: Walks! I absolutely love going for walks and sniffing all the scents in the neighborhood. I’m a great leash walker! Fetch! Do you have a plush toy or two? I will happily play fetch and bring it back to you. Once I drop it, I’m ready for you to throw it again, and again, and again. Cuddles & Love! I enjoy falling asleep by your side while you pet my soft, beautiful fur. And I really love your positive reinforcement when I’m a good girl. My Ideal Home: Because I am a senior lady who appreciates a calm environment, I require an adult-only home. I am a sweet soul, but I don't love the chaotic energy of small children. I would prefer to be your one-and-only pet so I can soak up all your love and belly rubs. I am perfectly fine in a home where you need to be gone for work. I am housetrained and trustworthy. Since change is hard for senior dogs, I would love to find a patient mama who can remember the rule of 3! 3 Days: Time to decompress. 3 Weeks: Time to learn your home routines. 3 Months: Time to feel secure and show my true personality. If you are looking for a loyal, affectionate walking or hiking companion to join you on daily strolls and snuggle on cozy evenings, please come meet me! I promise I will make your life brighter.
