Due to the number of applications being received for each dog, we are only able to contact the applicants who have met ALL the listed Requirements*** Name/Tag#: Bitsy 4423 Age: 5 years Sex/Altered: Female/Spayed Weight: 14lb Breed: Cavachon Foster Home Location:  PENETANGUISHENE, ON Adoption Fee: $750.00 Temperament: Sweet, quiet, calm Activity/Energy Level: Low Up to date on Shots: Yes Housebroken: No, working on it Crate Trained: Yes-loves her crate at night Ok with Dogs: Yes Ok with Cats: Unknown Ok with Kids: Yes, kids 12+ years Origin: Mill Release Requirements: Securely fenced yard, someone home at least part time, companion dog in the home, mill dog experience, no kids under 12 years.   And now, a few words from me: Life outside the mill has been great! My three favourite things so far (in no particular order) Food- I get so excited for snacks and meals. Watch me dance and prance and sit like a good girl. Foster mom would prefer I walk behind her but I like to see it all so I am right in front and luckily she hasn't tripped over me yet. People. I love my people and I wag my tail so hard when my foster parents return from an outing. Last thing- the couch! I can't get up there myself but with your help, I can lie around all day long.   And now, a few words from my foster mom: Although it's hard to tell that Bitsy is part Cavalier and part Bichon by looking at her, her behaviours speak to both of those breeds. She is a perfect mix of couch potato with a little sass thrown in. She does shed and will need regular grooming to keep her hairy body in shape. She doesn't mind being brushed. Bitsy gets along well with her foster fur siblings and while a little shy at first, is good with new people as well. She is working on her potty training. Sometimes she loves going outside and other times, she needs convincing.  Bitsy knows “sit" and she knows how to run away from you when you want her to go out when she doesn't want to.  At night she trots right in to her crate to sleep. J She's just a sweet girl. Like most former breeding dogs, she will need a stable companion dog in her forever home and someone home at least part time to continue her potty training. She is not yet leash trained and will need a securely fenced area. Questions? I am discovering that this new freedom I have of sleeping in my own bed, having toys and being a part of a family is everything. It took me a couple of weeks to feel safe around my foster family, but now I want to be everywhere they are, especially curled up beside them on the couch to watch a movie. I love other dogs, big ones and small ones. My foster family brings me outside to go potty a lot and I am catching on very well. I am sweet and curious and looking forward to my forever family.   And now, a few words from my foster mom: It is easy to fall in love with this sweet, beautiful girl. She loves to chew on her toys and is discovering the world of our big backyard. Her tail is wagging the whole time she is outside exploring and seems to love sliding along the snow. She loves meeting other dogs and is gentle and curious with them all. Waffles has discovered that she wants to be wherever we are and will follow us to stay close. She likes meal time and enjoys having treats. She sleeps in her bed all night and doesn’t make a peep, other than some adorable snoring. Questions?
