Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat if a kitten is too much energy for you! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. BISCOTTI and his siblings (AMARETTI, MOCHA TRUFFLE, SNICKERDOODLE and BUTTERSCOTCH) were left in a carrier with her mama COOKIE on a lady’s doorstep in Murrieta, California. When notified, we found a foster and who took them in. Meet BISCOTTI, a young Russian Blue kitten from Murrieta, California, whose elegant good looks are matched by an exceptionally gentle and affectionate personality. BISCOTTI was just three weeks old when he arrived with his mama, COOKIE, and his siblings AMARETTI, SNICKERDOODLE, MOCHA TRUFFLE, and BUTTERSCOTCH after their little family was left together in a tiny carrier on a Murrieta doorstep. A kind lady brought them to us, and BISCOTTI has been growing up in a loving foster home ever since. This handsome boy has a wonderfully tender nature and simply loves being close to his person. One of his favorite places in the world is right on your chest, where he can curl up for a cozy nap while listening to the comforting rhythm of your heartbeat. There is something especially sweet about having this gentle little man settle in for a cuddle, purr softly, and drift off to sleep. BISCOTTI is the kind of kitten who makes companionship feel effortless. He enjoys being near his people and seems happiest when he can share their space. Whether he is snuggled up for a nap or quietly keeping you company, he brings a peaceful sweetness wherever he goes. But do not let his elegant appearance and gentle personality fool you into thinking BISCOTTI does not know how to have fun. This boy has an impressive talent for detecting treats! Simply shake the treat jar, and BISCOTTI will appear in an instant. Apparently, no nap is too cozy and no distance is too great when a delicious snack is involved. VISITING HOURS: 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours.. FOR HOLIDAYS email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are the same 3-hour shifts. One was 8 weeks old. SKY and her siblings (SAWYER & STUART) were saved by an independent rescuer. They came from a mom at a colony in the area South Los Angeles, California. Once the kittens were stable, the rescuer reached out to us. And now they are with our rescue. Meet SKY, a young feline with a heart full of curiosity. Her personality is a delightful blend of goofy and mellow, making every moment spent with her a joy. SKY's intelligence shines through in her playful antics, as she effortlessly turns everyday objects into toys. She's energetic, always ready for a game of chase, and brave, unafraid to explore new territories. But, SKY also has a shy side. She can be a bit timid and skittish, yet this only adds to her charm. Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old. AMERICA CHAVEZ and her brother DR STEPHEN STRANGE were found at a Spay/Neuter clinic in El Monte, California. We arrived at our month hosted clinic and was told the kittens were left outside of their facility. Of course we found a foster and took them in. Meet AMERICA CHAVEZ, a Russian Blue kitten whose delicate presence hides a sweet little heart waiting to bloom. AMERICA CHAVEZ is a very shy and cautious girl who can feel overwhelmed by new experiences, but underneath her timid nature is a gentle kitten who is beginning to show just how much affection she can offer when she feels safe and comfortable. AMERICA CHAVEZ needs a loving family who understands that trust takes time. She may not be the kitten who immediately runs up to greet you, but she has already shown that she can accept gentle pets and even allows herself to be picked up. Those quiet moments are precious glimpses of the loving companion she can become with patience, kindness, and plenty of reassurance. Once AMERICA CHAVEZ feels secure, she has a wonderful opportunity to build confidence at her own pace. A calm, caring environment with a predictable routine and lots of gentle encouragement will help her learn that she is safe and surrounded by people who care about her. Positive reinforcement, patience, and simply allowing her to choose when she is ready to interact will be important parts of her journey.
