Story
How Mila arrived: Mila was brought in by their previous owner on January 21st. Why Mila is the one for you:Mila is a lively, curious little cat with a playful streak that shows up the moment she feels at home. She loves to explore, chase toys, and zoom around like she's got important cat business to handle. Around new people she can be a bit shy at first, preferring to observe quietly from a safe distance, but once she warms up, her sweet and affectionate personality really shines. Give her a little time (and maybe a treat), and Mila will happily show you just how fun and loving she can be. At SDHS:Mila has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed. Mila is now ready for their new home! Primary Color: Blue Secondary Color: White Weight: 7.9125 Age: 1yrs 0mths 0wks

Story
Hi! My name is Seymour and here is a little more about me :My JourneyI’ve already lived a big life for a little guy. I was found with severe injuries to my back legs and hips and brought to a shelter in Orange County. It’s believed I was hit by a car, and because my injuries were so serious, I was placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, Smittens Rescue stepped in and gave me a second chance.I went through major surgery to restore function to my back legs and hips. When one leg didn’t recover, even after a second six-hour surgery, it had to be amputated. Since then, I’ve shown just how resilient I am. I run, climb, play, and fully enjoy life on three legs.My Social LifeOther cats ? Because I’m so active, I’d do best with a playful feline friend who enjoys rough-and-tumble play.Dogs ? I haven’t had much experience with dogs yet, so I’m not sure how I feel about canine friends. With slow, thoughtful introductions, I may do just fine.Kids ? Can be mouthy during play when overstimulated. A home without young children would be ideal, especially since I don`t enjoy unexpected touching. My PersonalityI’m energetic, curious, and very people-oriented. I communicate clearly and prefer initiating affection on my own terms. As I settle into a safe environment, this has already improved and continues to get better with time. I let you know when I`m not in the mood for petting—especially around my amputation site, which remains a sensitive area—and does best when my cues are respected.I EnjoyInteractive play —wand toys, ambush games, and anything I can chase and pounce on. Catnip and will happily play for 20–30 minutes at a timeGentle petting on the top of my head and under my chin.Churu squeeze treats and Fancy Feast Purely Natural Hand-Selected Chicken treats - yes, that`s specific !Toys over hands (kicker toys are a big hit!), which helps me channel my energy in a fun and appropriate way.I’m Not a Fan OfSeafood flavors aren’t my thing. Wet food. Dry food is my preference. What Makes Me SpecialI’m a proud tripod! I get around confidently on three legs and don’t let it slow me down. I also have subtle black striping hidden within my dark grey (blue) coat, which makes me extra handsome. My Perfect HomeI have a high energy level and would thrive in a home with a playful cat companion who can keep up with me.I would thrive in a calm, cat-savvy home where
