We adopted Louis from the SPCA about 3 years ago. He's approx. 9-10 years old. He's very shy and skittish, but not aggressive at all. He can be affectionate at times and loves to drink from streaming water/faucets. He's curious about outside but remains indoors 99% of the time. Does well around other cats, dogs, and children - prefers to be alone. Has issues with litter boxes that are enclosed or used by multiple cats. We are looking for a new home unfortunately as he tends to shed a lot and my child has developed serious allergies/breathing issues. It is best to remove any possible triggers.

Samurai (Sammy) is friendly, affectionate, and playful; has a doglike purrrsonality!  He's 7 years old, neutered (male), microchipped, and current with all recommended vet care (which included recent tooth removal and a root canal!!). He had been a companion to someone who had serious health issues & couldn't keep him anymore, so was taken in by a good samaritan to help find him a good home. He's very easy-going, laid back, accomodating - he recently attended a huge adoption event riding in/displayed in a large pet stroller - handled it like a champ - got lots of attention & petting & then took a nap! Samurai still has his nails and regularly uses a scratching post.  His foster family will only consider adopters willing to keep his nails and keep him indoors.  He does great with his litter box and is easy to care for.  Call or text Tracy @ 812.560.8071 for more information regarding Samurai.  (References and home visit are required prior to adoption.) Zosia This beautiful girl was found pregnant and in need of help. She safely delivered her kittens, and each of them has found a loving home. When her finder realized they couldn’t keep her long-term, they reached out to us so Zosia could have the same happy ending. Now spayed, vaccinated, and ready for her next chapter, Zosia is looking for a forever family of her own. She is chatty, affectionate, and loves attention. She enjoys being near her people and will happily “talk” to you about her day. She’s doing well with the other foster cats, but she would also thrive as an only cat where she can soak up all the love. Zosia has the stunning look of a Russian Blue with her sleek gray coat and expressive eyes, but she is a mixed breed. While Russian Blues are sometimes considered more allergy-friendly, we cannot guarantee how she would affect someone with allergies. She’s done her job as a mama. Now it’s her turn to be someone’s baby. Adoption fee $60.
