Chartreux kittens & cats in Schertz, Texas

It's impossible to find a more playful cat than Ivy, the Chartreux-Russian Blue charmer with the luminous green eyes. Those eyes sparkle as Ivy romps with other cats, with people and with toys. Give her a catnip mouse and Ivy will enthusiastically toss it in the air. Ivy also enjoys playing with fluffy toys, string toys, even shoelaces. She'll plop on the floor and roll to entice other cats to play. With people, Ivy crouches and runs a few feet away and then runs back, just hoping someone will throw a toy for her to chase.   Of course Ivy purrs when she plays. She purrs when her foster enters the room as she rubs against that person's leg. She purrs when she is scratched on the back near the base of her tail. Ivy has a soft, rattling purr that sounds whenever she gets chin rubs, which she lovingly leans into. Yes, Ivy adores people and attention. She's an affectionate, talkative cat with a sweet meow and a sweeter nature. As a former stray, Ivy might need a taste of Churu to trust total strangers. But once she does, Ivy is gentle enough for kids and even allows her foster to carry her on her back like a baby.  In fact Ivy has a few characteristics of the Chartreux, a French breed known for its friendly, playful nature, heavy-boned muscular body and bluish-grey coat. In Ivy's case that coat is velvety soft, lustrous and a joy to pet. So if you're looking for a young cat who can thrive in a house or apartment, can make you laugh and be your best friend, Ivy is your girl. Meet her today and fall in love!
