Story
Mocha is a sweet and loyal 8-year-old dog who has been by my side since she was a puppy. She was given to me by my parents when I was young, and she’s been my companion through everything—from hard times to happy ones. Mocha has always had a deep bond with her person and loves to be close by, offering comfort, protection, and affection. She is very intuitive and protective, especially toward the person she connects with most. Because of her strong loyalty, she can be reactive when unfamiliar people get too close to her person or come into her space. For this reason, Mocha would do best in a calm, low-traffic home with someone who has experience with protective or emotionally sensitive dogs.

Story
This sweet gal is Maxie. Maxie lost her owner and ended up in a shelter. She had been through so much and when she came to us, we found out she was Heartworm positive. Maxie definitely deserved a chance to live out her golden years so went through the extensive work up to prepare her for the treatment. Heartworm treatment is a several month process and is very hard and uncomfortable. There is also no guarantee the treatment would work or that she would survive. Maxie was a real trooper through the whole treatment and was one of the lucky ones that survived. She is now Heartworm negative and ready for her forever home ! Maxie will need to be on Heartworm preventive year round for the rest of her life and be tested for Heartworm on a regular basis. Maxie loves people and does well with dogs her size. Children 12 or older. She would love a home where someone is home most of the time. She is very loving and enjoys leisurely walks. Abby & Grace are a bonded pair that were rescued from a Colorado shelter. They are very sweet girls that would love to have a home where someone is home most of the time. They would do best in a home with no children or children over the age of 12. They would be fine as the only pets. They have had bloodwork, dentals and have been spayed. They cannot be separated.
