Story

Toots is now on the prowl for her next adventure. She came to us with a completely rotten mouth. It was so bad you could smell her before you saw her. On her intake visit the vet did an emergency dental because the infection was so bad, and Toots lost all her teeth. It took almost 3 weeks for the infection to go away. She also had a large lipoma on her chest that we had to wait to remove because of the bacteria in her mouth. She has recovered from her emergency dental and having the lipoma removed. She has gained some weight and looks wonderful. Now that she's feeling better this girl is so happy. She loves to lay in the sun or up on the couch watching TV. She will do her best to snuggle right behind you, between you and the couch cushion. She does get excited when her people come home but she does settle easily. This girl LOVES to eat. She will need a sign that says- "The dog has been fed. Don't fall for her lies." She knows exactly how to use those puppy dog eyes to get an extra treat or a smidge more kibble. Although she did have all of her teeth removed because of the horrible infection she had, she does eat kibble but small bites. Story

Louise is a quick learner and energetic chug, pug chihuahua mix. We got her from the pound but does not get along with our other dog after a test period of time. We have what she needs ie: food bowl/water bowl/ mesh kennel. And can provide a bage of her current dog food so you can transition to what food you want to give her. She is strong willed but quick to learn. Would do well with an energetic dog friend or family. Unsure of how she would interact with children. She is just vaccinated and can finally go out and have fun in the world with no worries. We are hoping she finds a good home that will love her as much as she loves others.
