Story
Rufus is 7 year old. I got him from humane society when he was 8 month old. So he’s been with me when I adopted him. He’s very active. he has to be exercise and needs long walks to help calm him down. Other than that he’s a good dog. He gets very excited and can knock down small kids and older peoples if he’s not around his owner. I’m giving him away cause I moved with family due to health problem that I have, and they have small kids and he has to be handle correctly cause he’s a strong dog.

These pups are in Wellington, Florida too!

Story
**ALL ADOPTIONS INCLUDE A HOME VISIT, YOU MUST LIVE NEAR BROWARD & PALM BEACH COUNTIES**  Meet the squishy lover girl, Philippa Chihuahua, on the lookout for the love she truly deserves! Recently discovering the joys of toys and walks, Philippa is relishing the simple pleasures that were missing in her previous home with multiple dogs. At 8-9 years old and a sweet 9 pounds, Philippa is a bundle of affection with not a bad bone in her. She's spent her life caring for her siblings, and now, in her foster home, she's getting the pampering she so rightly deserves. Philippa is timid initially, but when you lower yourself to her level, she responds with gentle kisses, a sign of the trust she's learning to build. This little sweetheart is great at meeting children, cats, and other small dogs. She desires to be close, knowing you're there, even if it's just in the room, brings her contentment. While she doesn't necessarily need physical contact, her heart is full when she's in your presence. Philippa has mastered her potty schedule and likes to make a "deposit" on the walk. She's the perfect Netflix and chill companion, ready to share those cozy moments with you. It's important to note that Philippa has a grade 2 heart murmur, currently not requiring medication. However, regular checkups will be essential to monitor and adjust her care as needed in the future. Long-term care is crucial, so consulting with your vet about her potential needs is advised. Affectionate and endearing, Philippa is seeking the love and care that she missed out on in her earlier years. If you're ready for a loyal and loving companion who will appreciate the simple joys of life, Philippa is waiting to steal your heart. This dog's adoption fee is $250 to go towards their vetting (vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed).
