Story
Hi, I’m Bobbles, 2.5 years old, and 18 lbs of sweetness and perfection – at least that is what my foster mom tells me. I had a tough start to life and survived a distemper infection when I was a puppy. That left me with something called myoclonus which is an involuntary, rhythmic, or sporadic contraction of muscles, so basically, I’m twitching all the time. Or you can just play some music and say I’m dancing. The distemper also caused some tooth abnormalities, but RCHS gave me an extensive dental so I am good to go for a while now in that regard.
My foster mom was curious about my breed mix, so she sent my cheek swabs off for DNA testing. Apparently, I’m chihuahua/pit bull, which I guess makes sense given my short and stocky physique. However that happened, I feel kinda sorry for my mom, especially if she was the chihuahua. But in any case, I’m so happy to be here, and the result was a stupendously cute dog, if I do say so myself!!
I love everyone I have met so far, as well as cats and dogs. I especially enjoy playing with my foster brothers and sisters and would prefer to have a playmate. I have a bad tendency of trying to wander off when I am outside, so a fenced yard is a must – I can’t help it, I’m just a curious little thing and I'm ever-searching for the best sunny spot to have a little nap. All and all, I’m super excited that I’m ready to find my forever family!
