Story
Hi Everybody! I'm Cocoa, and I sure am a fun girl! I am a Chinese Crested powder puff puppy. I am about 7 months old, and I am FULL of puppy energy! I want to play, play, play, all day long! I really, really want a small playful dog like me in my forever home. I am not a match for a home with older dogs who will be annoyed by my constant activity, but a home with another fun dog is what I need to be happy. I get confidence from another dog, and it gives me someone to keep me company when I am home alone. I also need a home where someone is around most of the time. I was turned over to the rescue due to separation anxiety when my family left me home alone. I can be pretty vocal when I am left, so apartment living is not for me. I am doing well with it though, so as long as I am not alone a lot, I will be fine. I complain when my foster mom leaves to go to work, but I am quiet when she comes home again. I love to play with toys, blowing leaves, really anything at all! I will cuddle for a few minutes, but then I like to get all wiggly and use my puppy mouth on my foster mom. Hey, that's what puppies do, right?? I walk nicely on leash when walked alone, although when I am walked with the other dogs in my foster home, I get myself all tangled in their leashes! I am housetrained as long as I am kept on a consistent schedule. I'm a baby so I need to go out frequently. My foster mom says I have selective hearing, whatever that is! She is working on teaching me to sit, but I can only be still for about 2 seconds! I am a fun, happy girl looking for someone who wants a bundle of joyful wildness! If you think I'm the girl for you, please send in an application. (Cocoa is being fostered in New England and is waiting for her appointment to be spayed, so she won't be ready to go for a few weeks)

Story
Hi everybody! I'm Minnie, a sweet and spunky senior (I'm 12 but don't act like it!) who is looking for a quiet forever home with a lap to call my own! My foster mom says I am surprisingly energetic for my age, but I want nothing more than to cuddle up with you and watch tv or take a nap. I would be just fine as the only dog in the house so that all your attention can be mine, but I also wouldn’t mind another small, laid back dog who is gentle and respectful of my boundaries. I really like my foster sister! I am housetrained and my favorite thing to do is go for walks. I love to go outside and explore when the weather is nice, and get excited as soon as I see you reaching for my leash! I also like to be carried around like a princess. Heck, I AM a princess! In true Chinese Crested fashion, I am a velcro dog and do NOT like to be left alone. I will be vocal when you leave me alone, so apartment living is not a good choice for me. I love meeting new people and getting attention everywhere I go! So a home where someone is around most of the time is what I need. I do have minor seizures, for which I take daily medication. It's inexpensive and I take it once a day. I still have the occasional minor seizure, every few weeks or so, but am doing really good! This is another reason why I need someone to be home most of the time. Most of all, I just want to be with you all the time. I'm also a very small girl, at about 5 lbs, so a home with no young children is needed please. The rescue says they are going to make sure that the most perfect home is found for me (like they always do!), so they will accept applications until the one that is just right for me is found. Ready to meet your new best friend? Apply to adopt Minnie today! (Minnie is being fostered in New England)
