All fees listed include transport fees.** Meet Moochie Pie Moochie Pie is a 1½-year-old Chinese Crested weighing about 10 pounds. This sweet boy absolutely adores people—he’s never met a stranger and loves being close, whether that means cuddling on the couch or following you from room to room. He just loves attention! Moochie Pie walks nicely on a leash and is doing great with his house training. He gets along well with other dogs and enjoys hanging out with his canine friends just as much as his human ones. One of his cutest quirks? He loves to spin in happy little circles, especially when he’s excited! As a true Chinese Crested, Moochie Pie also has a fondness for his sweaters and is always happy to show off his cozy wardrobe. He came to us after his previous owners were moving and unable to take him, and now he’s ready to find a forever home where he can be loved and included in daily life. We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting. Our adoption fee is $850. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public in Oklahoma. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. We are not in a hurry to place TJ as he has endeared himself, is a very happy dog and loves all his pals here. We are asking $750 to help the many sanctuary dogs and he is worth every penny.. Tijuana is great with everyone, loves cats and dogs and probably children. He is fun, loves to give massages (push you with his front paws), affectionate and lively. He is doing very well now with his housetraining! He is a huge favorite with everyone, has wonderful eyes, expressive and interesting and really he is one of a kind in so many ways. He loves to wake up his humans in the morning and he runs like the wind when out walking with his family. This special little one year old chihuahua is called Magic Maude. And especially sensitive little girl, that somehow got just a little too round and is on a dedicated exercise in nutrition program to drop some weight. Currently, she is eighteen pounds and we field that she would be best to be in the ten to twelve pound range as a goal. She originally was in a chaotic home that animal control had to step in and take away 112 chihuahuas that we're living in the home. An unfathomable amount of dogs that were not altered, but yet healthy. When mod came to our rescue and was put in a foster home. She lay there in her crate for days very depressed and emotionally unresponsive. She barely moved from the one spot she lay in. Eventually, after almost two weeks, she perked up with the company of few other chihuahuas coming to join her in her large crate. Soon she was going on walks with the foster. Mom and seemed to enjoy the freedom of being outside, taking in all the new sights and sounds of the neighborhood. We know she had never been leash walked due to the overcrowding at her original home. This girl is spayed and healthy and ready to start all over again. She wants love and we promised her a great family who will love her and take her for walks and treat her like the Magic Maude that she is. &#226&#156&#168 Mimi – A Tiny Girl Ready for a Big New Beginning Mimi is a beautiful black-and-tan Chiweenie girl whose sleek little coat shines brightly in the sunlight. At just 4 years old and 6.6 pounds, she is a petite sweetheart who has already been through more change than any little dog should have to endure. Mimi originally came from a home where her owner’s life had begun to spiral out of control. With love and honesty, her owner made the heartbreaking decision to surrender Mimi and her younger Chiweenie companion, GiGi, knowing they deserved stability and care she could no longer provide. The girls were turned into a small-town shelter — and thankfully, Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in and pulled them to safety, promising them a brighter future. Right now, Mimi is a quiet, gentle girl, likely still processing the loss of her previous life and her mom. She does need to gain about 3 pounds to reach a healthier and more typical weight, but with proper nutrition, care, and love, she is expected to thrive beautifully. Mimi is leash trained and does wonderfully with other dogs and cats. While she isn’t telling us definitively if she’s fully housebroken at the moment, we strongly suspect that she either is or would happily use a pee pad with gentle guidance. She is crate trained, but in a calm home, a cozy dog bed in a small room may be all she needs when her family is away. This sweet girl has unlimited potential to become the most cuddly, loving companion in your life. Mimi isn’t asking for much — just what every pretty little girl dog deserves: to be cherished, protected, and spoiled as she begins this new chapter. GiGi – Small in Size, Big on Love GiGi is a precious little Chiweenie girl who is about 3 years old and weighs just around 6.4 pounds. Like her sister Mimi, GiGi’s life changed suddenly when the only home she had ever known fell apart. Through no fault of her own, she and Mimi were surrendered when their owner realized she could no longer provide the stability they deserved. The girls were turned into a small-town shelter, and thankfully Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in and brought them to safety. GiGi is still adjusting to all the changes, but even in the midst of uncertainty, her gentle and affectionate personality is easy to see. GiGi is a friendly, sweet-natured little girl who enjoys being close to her people. She has a slightly more curious side than Mimi and seems eager to understand her new surroundings. She does well with other dogs and has lived peacefully with cats, making her an easy fit for many different home environments. We believe GiGi is either already housebroken or would quickly adapt with a consistent routine or pee pad. She is crate trained, though like many small dogs, she would likely be just as content relaxing on a comfy dog bed in a safe, quiet space when her family is away. GiGi has a soft, loving heart and is simply looking for another chance to belong. She doesn’t ask for much — just patience, kindness, and a family who will love her for the rest of her life. In return, she promises loyalty, affection, and the kind of companionship that makes every day better.
