Meet Clancy! Clancy is a sweet and special Chinese Crested looking for a patient home that will give him the time he needs to feel safe and loved. He may be a little shy at first, but once he learns to trust you, his affectionate personality shines through.   Clancy gets along well with other dogs and cats, though he prefers calm introductions and does not like other pets rushing into his face. Because of this, he would do best in a home without small children and with adopters who understand how to help a sensitive dog feel comfortable.   He can be a little possessive of his person because he bonds closely and loves being near you. Clancy is about 90% house trained and does a great job when you pay attention to his cues to go outside.   As a hairless breed, Clancy will need some extra skin care and maintenance to keep him comfortable and healthy. In return, you’ll get a loyal, loving companion who just wants to be your special little shadow.   Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt!  Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications.   We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home.  Please only apply if you are serious about adopting.  Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine.   The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match. ##2701655##

Meet Bubbles, who comes to us from a local shelter when her previous owners brought her there to be euthanized. Bubbles is a vibrant 11-year-old, 10.5 lb., Chihuahua. She has one eye, and is still carrying some of her holiday weight, but that doesn't stop this wonderful little love bug one bit. Bubbles is housebroken, funny, loves to give kisses, loves her belly rubbed, enjoys walks, gets along with other dogs and cats, and she can even jump on the couch by herself. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. She is adored by her foster family and we're pretty sure she will captivate your heart as well. Meet Chloe, who comes to us from Union County Animal Services where she was dropped off with her bonded pack Memory and Buddy after their owner passed away. Chloe is a 7 lb. 8-year-old Chihuahua and gives the best kisses! We would like for them to go together, and we will work out a package deal if someone would be willing to take all three to keep them together. They are all fixed, up to date on shots and microchipped. All are dogs are very sweet and cat friendly. Memory is a 7 lb., 13-year-old Chihuahua. She is a very outgoing and spry girl and so loving. Buddy is a 21 lb., 8-year-old, Chi mix who is super sweet and a little on the heavy side
