Doran is a 5-year-old Chinese Crested/Terrier mix who was sadly left behind by his previous people… but don’t worry, he’s handled it like the brave little champ he is. He’s learned that humans can actually be pretty great, especially the kind who give him a little time and a lot of patience. Once you’re in his trust circle? You’re in for life. This funny, quirky guy loves hanging out with other dogs and can often be found running around playing tag with his foster buddies like it’s recess. When he’s not zooming, he’s perfecting his sun-lounging skills, popping in and out of the doggy door like he owns the place, or chasing squirrels who absolutely started it. He can be timid at first, but every day he’s learning that people can be kind and love can be safe. Once he feels comfortable, Dan shows his sweet side—curling up on the couch, soaking up the sunshine, and happily sharing space with other dogs. Dan enjoys the simple joys in life: sunbathing like a pro, chasing squirrels and birds, and letting deer know (from a safe distance) that he’s on neighborhood watch. He’s a soft, sensitive boy who thrives in calm environments and would love a quiet person or couple who can give him patience, consistency, and all the affection he’s been waiting for. Meet Shaggy! He arrived at WAG with his mother and four littermates from the west end of Clallam County. They have all been in a loving foster home, but are ready for their forever homes! Shaggy and his siblings were born on September 21, 2025. They are a mix of small breeds and may grow to be 17-20 lbs. As Shaggy is growing, we're seeing that he is energetic, affectionate, and ready to play with other dogs (whether they want to play or not). Puppies from WAG require a visibly fenced yard, no children under the age of eight, please, and someone able to give them the consistent training needed to mature into a well-behaved dog. Meet Latte! This little boy is living up to his name and is full of energy. He was born in late June 2025 and may have been too energetic for his previous owners. We're not sure of Latte's breed make up, but we do not anticipate him growing too big- maybe 20 pounds. He has long legs and will likely be taller than most other dogs his weight. WAG will provide age appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption, but it will be the responsibility of the adopter to get Latte neutered at the age recommended by their veterinarian. Like all of WAG's puppies, Latte needs his adoptive home to have a securely fenced yard, people that can dedicate a lot of time to his training so he can grow into a well-behaved dog, and no children under 5 please. Another small to medium sized dog under age 8 in the home may make for a good companion for Latte, but his puppy energy and teething would be overwhelming to cats.
