Doran is a 5-year-old Chinese Crested/Terrier mix who was sadly left behind by his previous people… but don’t worry, he’s handled it like the brave little champ he is. He’s learned that humans can actually be pretty great, especially the kind who give him a little time and a lot of patience. Once you’re in his trust circle? You’re in for life. This funny, quirky guy loves hanging out with other dogs and can often be found running around playing tag with his foster buddies like it’s recess. When he’s not zooming, he’s perfecting his sun-lounging skills, popping in and out of the doggy door like he owns the place, or chasing squirrels who absolutely started it. Dan is an exceptionally gentle Chinese Crested Powder Puff, born on 07/24/2020 and weighing just 6.5 pounds. He has the softest, most luxurious fur and the sweetest disposition you can imagine. Sadly, Dan and his family were left behind when their owners moved away. A kind family member brought them to the rescue, giving Dan a second chance at happiness. Because of his past, he may be shy at first, but with a little patience (and a few tasty treats!), he’ll soon reveal his loving and loyal nature. Dan thrives in a calm environment and would do best with a quiet family who can give him the time he needs to build trust. He absolutely adores other dogs and would love a confident canine companion to help show him the ropes and make him feel secure. Meet Shaggy! He arrived at WAG with his mother and four littermates from the west end of Clallam County. They have all been in a loving foster home, but are ready for their forever homes! Shaggy and his siblings were born on September 21, 2025. They are a mix of small breeds and may grow to be 17-20 lbs. Puppies from WAG require a visibly fenced yard, no children under the age of eight, please, and someone able to give them the consistent training needed to mature into a well-behaved dog. A friendly dog or cat under 8 years old in the home would be a plus to give some additional companionship. WAG has provided age-appropriate vaccinations. The adopter will be responsible for getting Shaggy neutered by six months of age or at the age recommended by their vet. Meet Velma! She arrived at WAG with her mother and four littermates from the west end of Clallam County. Meet Latte! This little boy is living up to his name and is full of energy. He was born in late June 2025 and may have been too energetic for his previous owners. We're not sure of Latte's breed make up, but we do not anticipate him growing too big- maybe 20 pounds. He has long legs and will likely be taller than most other dogs his weight. WAG will provide age appropriate vaccinations prior to adoption, but it will be the responsibility of the adopter to get Latte neutered at the age recommended by their veterinarian. Like all of WAG's puppies, Latte needs his adoptive home to have a securely fenced yard, people that can dedicate a lot of time to his training so he can grow into a well-behaved dog, and no children under 5 please. Another small to medium sized dog under age 8 in the home may make for a good companion for Latte, but his puppy energy and teething would be overwhelming to cats.
