Dan is an exceptionally gentle Chinese Crested Powder Puff, born on 07/24/2020 and weighing just 6.5 pounds. He has the softest, most luxurious fur and the sweetest disposition you can imagine. Sadly, Dan and his family were left behind when their owners moved away. A kind family member brought them to the rescue, giving Dan a second chance at happiness. Because of his past, he may be shy at first, but with a little patience (and a few tasty treats!), he’ll soon reveal his loving and loyal nature. Dan thrives in a calm environment and would do best with a quiet family who can give him the time he needs to build trust. He absolutely adores other dogs and would love a confident canine companion to help show him the ropes and make him feel secure. Meet Velma! She arrived at WAG with her mother and four littermates from the west end of Clallam County. They have all been in a loving foster home, but are ready for their forever homes!  Velma and her siblings were born on September 21, 2025. They are a mix of small breeds and may grow to be 17-20 lbs. Velma is the smallest in the litter due to a heart murmur, but she has been seen by a cardiologist who believes she will grow out of it. Puppies from WAG require a visibly fenced yard, no children under the age of eight please, and someone able to give them the consistent training needed to mature into a well-behaved dog. A friendly dog or cat under 8 years old in the home would be a plus to give some additional companionship. WAG will provide age appropriate vaccinations. The adopter will be responsible for completing vaccinations and getting Velma spayed by six months of age or at the age recommended by their vet.
