Story
Hello everyone! My family is searching for a new home for our lovely American Akita, Rosie. We’ve had her since she was just a few months old, and is now two years old. We have made the difficult decision to rehome her due to our shortcomings in providing her with the proper training she needs. Over the past two years, we’ve moved twice and have not been able to give her the attention she requires. Unfortunately, we currently reside in an HOA, and Rosie is not allowed to live here after she scared two small dogs and was reported. Although she did not attack them, she does have a playful nature, which can be misinterpreted. We realize that we are not the right owners for her and failed by not training her as we should have. We mistakenly believed she could be trained like our corgi, but we were wrong. Rosie is spayed and housebroken but can be mischievous, so a watchful eye is needed.
