Hi, I'm Crow. I came from a shelter in Alabama, and I'll always be grateful that Big Dog Ranch Rescue made room for me. As an adult black dog, I know I'm often overlooked, but the people here saw something worth saving—they saw me. Since arriving at the ranch, I've received all the medical care, love, and affection a dog could ask for. The staff has spent time helping me grow into the best companion I can be. I've learned to walk nicely on a leash, share with others, and trust that people can be kind. Big Dog Ranch has been an incredible place to heal, but what I dream about every day isn't another kennel—it's a home of my own. I dream of a soft bed, a family waiting for me at the end of the day, and someone to love for the rest of my life. The staff has given me all the tools I need to be a wonderful companion. Now I just need one thing they can't give me—a family willing to take a chance on me. Please don't pass me by because I'm an adult or because my coat is black. Look into my eyes, and you'll see a loyal heart that's just waiting to belong. Can you be the family I've been hoping for? With love, Crow 🐾

Meet Mama Aspen! 💖 Hi there! I’m Mama Aspen — a gentle, loving girl with a big heart. I came to Big Dog Ranch Rescue as a stray from Alabama, pregnant and looking for safety. I raised my beautiful puppies with lots of love, and now that they’re all grown, it’s finally my turn to find a forever home of my own. I’m wonderful on a leash and really enjoy going for walks. I get along great with other dogs, adore kids alike, and my favorite things include playing with stuffed animals, cuddling up close to my human, and getting those irresistible belly rubs! I might not have much experience beyond being an amazing mama, but I have endless love to give. What I want most is a family who’ll snuggle with me, take me on walks, and make me feel safe and cherished. ❤️ Are you the one who’ll give me my forever home?
