Story
MING IS THE BEST, SWEETEST AND MOST WONDERFUL DOG...EVER. He came to me when my eldest son became disabled (and unemployed) a little over a year ago. We think Ming is between 4-5 years old, he loves to run around in the back yard but his favorite pastime is sleeping on the living room floor...and eating people food (occationally). Ming is having seizures. They started about 6 months ago...one small, short episode roughly every now and then but in the past two days he has had several (3 the day before yesterday and 3 yesterday...they were bad ones and lasted for about 60-90 seconds. I am on a small fixed income and work part time just to make ends meet. There is never enough after rent, food, electricity, insurance, etc. to take Ming to a vet and I am terrified for him...and for us. We cannot bear the thought of surrendering him to an animal shelter and we would rather find a loving, capable home for him as opposed to euthanasia.

Case #59737773. Maize was born August 2024. Maize is very outgoing and friendly. She's not a large dog, but very pretty - and she has a purple tongue! Maize came to the shelter as a stray. Maize has done great with all the dogs she's met so far in play group since coming to the shelter. She also was fostered with another dog during the cold snap and was good with that dog as well. She's good about matching play energy. Come visit Maize today, she's a great medium sized dog with a big heart! This dog has been spayed/neutered, microchipped and is current with shots according to its age. Adoption fee is $90.00 cash or check only..
