Story
Meet Stargazer, an akita/heeler mix who is looking for a patient and understanding home. Stargazer was found as a stray and is very nervous and scared in the shelter. She takes some time to warm up to new people, but once she feels comfortable, her sweet personality comes out. She becomes cuddly, wiggly, and affectionate.Stargazer enjoys playing with other dogs and has a fun chase-style of play. She does best with male dogs. She is extremely fearful of men, so her new family should be prepared for her to be especially nervous around them and give her plenty of time and space to build trust.Stargazer would do best in a quieter home with patient adopters who are willing to let her settle in at her own pace. With time, patience, and a little reassurance, this sweet girl has the potential to become a wonderful companion.
