Story
Meet Minnie! Minnie is a 1 year old mix who was found as a stray in PG County. Though her breed is unknown, she does have a blue tongue and a silky soft grey coat (And bonus-she doesn’t shed much!) Minnie has playful puppy energy and is very affectionate. She’s a bit low to the ground, only 35 lbs, and loves to stand on her hind legs to get closer to your level. Minnie is still very much a puppy, and while she is house trained, she has just started learning basic obedience commands like “sit” and “down”. Although she is crate trained and does well inside it, she also makes it clear that her favorite spot is right next to you. She hasn’t had formal leash training yet, but she doesn’t pull too much, she just is enthusiastic to sniff everything! She’s tough on toys (stock up!) and adores: * Playing with other dogs * Car rides * Kongs stuffed with peanut butter * Meals served in puzzle feeders Minnie is brave, friendly, food-motivated, curious, funny, playful, and very snuggly. She does show some resource guarding with high-value items, so she may do best as an only dog or with an experienced adopter. That said, she loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have doggy playdates. If you’re looking for a loving, cuddly companion with lots of personality and silly antics, Minnie may be your perfect match 💕 https://www.fureverhome-rescue.org/adopt
