This energetic 2‑year‑old neutered male Doxie mix is smart, spirited, and full of personality — the kind of companion who thrives with an owner who enjoys channeling that zest into something fun and constructive. If you’ve been looking for a buddy who can keep you laughing, keep you moving, and keep you on your toes, Oscar is your guy. He’s bright, curious, and eager to learn, and he’ll flourish with someone who can help him polish his social skills and give him positive outlets for all that enthusiasm. Older kids or adults are the best match for his bouncy style and his desire for structure. With the right guidance and a patient, active human by his side, he’s going to grow into an incredible, well‑rounded companion. He’s ready to give his whole heart — he just needs the right person to help him shine. He weighs 22 pounds.

Story
We found Stella abandoned in the middle of the desert and saved her life by bringing her along with us. Seven years later, we’ve gone on endless adventures and she’s been the most loving, loyal, and sweet dog we’ve ever known. Unfortunately, she also has anxiety and reactivity from a history of abuse and abandonment before we found her that we have been managing up until we became parents. Stella “protects” us from our crawling baby, so she is currently being fostered while we search for a permanent child free home for her. She does have stranger danger and requires gentle introductions to new people/dogs, but is also quick to trust those who are caring for her and usually does well with larger dogs. She is well trained with basic commands, fully house trained, and is such a joy to have around the home. She has a big heart, so much personality, and so much love to give. She loves walks, runs, belly rubs, cuddles, wearing clothes, car rides, adventures, and solo time at home.
