Story
Marshall may be small, but he feels the world in a big way. Marshall came from a hoarding case and we recently got custody of him. New people and new places can be overwhelming for him, and he’s still learning that he’s safe. At first, he might hang back and watch from a distance — just taking everything in at his own pace. But give Marshall a little time, and you’ll start to see the sweetness underneath. As he warms up, his gentle, playful side begins to shine. There’s something incredibly special about watching him grow braver day by day. The trust he gives isn’t given lightly — and that makes it all the more meaningful. Marshall is still building confidence and learning the ropes, and he’ll do best in a calm, patient home that understands shy dogs. With consistency, kindness, and encouragement, we know he’ll continue to blossom into a devoted and loving companion.February 20, 2026, 5:01 pm

Story
Jim is a tiny, tender-hearted little guy. Life hasn’t always been easy for him; he came to us from a hoarding situation and we recently gained custody of him. He would get beat up by the other dogs and was covered in infected wounds that have since been treated and are healing nicely. Jim is pretty fearful, especially around new people. The world still feels big and sometimes a little scary. But with patience, gentle voices, and a calm environment, he is sure to blossom in the most beautiful way. We’ve been so proud of his progress! Jim has learned to walk nicely on a leash and is crate trained, finding comfort in having his own cozy little space. He’s doing his best every day and just needs a human willing to go at his pace. And let’s talk about that face — we suspect there might be a little pug DNA in there somewhere! Whatever his mix may be, one thing is certain: he is completely adorable. Jim would thrive in a patient, understanding home that can help him continue building confidence. If you believe that the most special bonds come from earning a shy dog’s trust, Jim may just be your perfect match.February 20, 2026, 2:46 pm
