🐾❤️ Meet Spikey! ❤️🐾 Spikey is a sweet little guy who's still figuring out that the world isn't quite as scary as it seems. 🥹 He can be nervous around new people and unfamiliar situations, so he appreciates a little patience while he gets comfortable. But once Spikey decides you're his person, you've got yourself a devoted little shadow! His foster says he loves curling up in a lap, following his favorite person from room to room, and staying close to the people he trusts. He's definitely the kind of dog who finds comfort in having his person nearby. ❤️ Spikey isn't much of a social butterfly. He tends to prefer his favorite humans over other dogs and appreciates having his own personal space. He can coexist with other dogs but may give a little nip if they get too close when he wants to be left alone. New environments can be overwhelming for Spikey, but he can also surprise you! At a recent event, he was understandably nervous with all the activity going on, but he allowed himself to be handled without any trouble. We think Spikey would do best in a quieter home with someone who understands that trust doesn't always happen overnight. He doesn't need a packed social calendar or a bunch of new adventures. He'd be perfectly happy with a cozy lap, a familiar routine, and someone to love. Spikey may take a little extra time to show you his whole personality, but there's a very loving little companion waiting underneath those nerves. ❤️
