Story
Senior dog adoption opportunity. Her elderly owner unfortunately passed away and my husband and I have been fostering her until we can find her a forever home. Amy is a chocolate brown chiweenie. She is 14 years old and was born March 13, 2012. She’s a small breed and loves to burrow under blankets. She is shy and timid, but warms up to you. She does well in calm, peaceful environments. She prefers to be indoors and in a nice quiet corner and rarely makes noises. . She has been going to Sherwood Veterinary Clinic in Beaumont, TX since she was a puppy and is up to date on heart work meds and vaccinations. She is very healthy and gets around easily. My husband and I have an 11 month old baby and another baby due in October 2026, which is why we cannot keep her. She makes a great companion and is a very quiet and calm dog. She also does well with other dogs of all sizes and cats.She deserves a quiet home and more attention which is why we are sadly needing to rehome her.

Story
I have had Cole since he was 1 year old. He is a loving boy, who enjoys company, snuggling and playing with tennis balls. Unfortunately, he does not get along with our other male dog, and has initiated fights. We have tried training. He will need to go to a home with no male dogs. He gets along great with our female dog, however! He has not been around cats. He is timid around kids and retreats to his kennel to be left alone. He can be timid of men until he knows and trusts them. Cole has hypothyroidism, and takes medications twice daily. This medication is not expensive, we pay $28 for a 3 month supply. He does get anxious with thunderstorms, fireworks and heavy rain. We give him trazadone as needed. We are looking for a home with no male dogs, and possibly no small children. We just want him to live a stress free, happy life. He is kennel trained, leash trained, house trained and knows basic commands. We will provide his kennel, bed, toys and remaining medications.

Pebbles is a young scruffy terrier mix pup who was found wondering about on a residents land. Thankfully a wonderful foster stepped up!   A little shy, but gets along well with other small pups in her foster home and enjoys being outside!   ##2802492##
