Story
Squid is a very sweet, friendly, and loving dog-- she LOVES being a lap dog, and is a cuddler. She's a senior dog and has lower energy levels, but still enjoys fetch. She was my mom's dog, but my mom had a bad stroke which left her using a wheelchair and a walker. She and Squid now live with me, but I am allergic to dogs, and we are in a small cramped apartment. I work full-time while going to college, so my hands are incredibly full, and my mom is no longer physically able to tend to Squid like she used to, or or take her on walks when I'm at work/classes. This has been a huge struggle for us all. She is iffy around other dogs-- she can warm up to them over time, but patience is needed to let her get comfy and warm up. Not great around small animals/kittens. My mom is not sure about her health, but she says she has some dental issues. As much as it breaks my heart, we want Squid to be able to go to a home better suited for dogs, especially one with a yard. Thank you so much!

Story
Opie loves all people and dogs, toys, to run in the yard and play fetch. He loves to lay on his back and get belly rubs. He's fully vetted, crate trained, leash trained, house trained (scratches on door to go out), medium energy level, friendly, smart, fast learner. He's had no experience with kids or cats at his foster home. We're sure he'll be good with kids, but not hopeful with cats. Maybe with a slow introduction. Foster to adopt is a great way to see if he's the perfect match for your family.
